Expertise in computational biology/bioinformatics algorithm design, bioinformatics software design, algorithm, approximation algorithm design and computational complexity proof. He has long been engaged in the research of algorithm and computational complexity, and mainly carries out algorithm research on bioinformatics, computer network and classical computer science. From 1990 to 1996, he worked on neural network learning algorithms.
