Biography :
J.K. Singh has completed his Ph.D. from Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur-Howrah, West Bengal, India in 2017. He has worked as project associate at Corrosion and Surface Engineering division, CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (CSIR-NML), Jamshedpur, India from April, 2009 to October, 2014. He has joined as teaching assistant in Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur, India from October 2014 to May 2015. He went to Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Janpath, New Delhi, India from May, 2015 to July, 2015 as project officer. Thereafter, he has joined to Department of Architectural Engineering, ERICA campus, Hanyang University, South Korea as a researcher from August, 2015 to till date. Currently he is working as post-doctoral researcher at same university. His expertise belongs to study the corrosion of different metals and alloys in different environment especially metallic heritage and artefact, reinforced concrete and atmospheric corrosion. Protection of metallic heritage and artefact by using naturally occurring inhibitor which protect the metals from chloride, sulphate and aggressive ions attack. He also has experience in metallic, polymeric and dual metal polymeric coating, galvanization, arc thermal spray coating, conversion coating and inhibitors. He is very familiar with different sophisticated analytical techniques such as EIS, potentiodyanmic, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscope, Field Emission-Scanning electron microscopy etc. He has published more than 58 research papers including national and international conferences in different area of corrosion with high impact factors.
