All articles will be published in RAFT open access are freely available online, immediately upon publication. This is made possible by an article-processing charge (APC) that covers the range of publishing services we provide.
The publication costs of an article are paid from an author's research budget, or by their supporting institution, in the form of Article Processing Charges. These Article Processing Charges waived of for subscription Authors and allow publishers to make the full-text of every published article freely available to all interested readers.
In addition, authors who publish in our open access journals retain the copyright of their work, which is released under a “Creative Commons Attribution License,” enabling the unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of an article in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.
Publishing an article in RAFT requires Article Processing Charges that will be billed to the author following the acceptance of an article for publication. Apart from these Article Process Charges, there are no additional/hidden charges will be collected from the author (submission charges, page charges, or color charges).
RAFT Publication provides a waiver of charges on below criteria.
1. Article Processing Charges to authors based in any of the countries which were classified by the World Bank as Low-income economies or Lower-middle-income economies as of July 2018, and which have a 2017 Gross National Income (GNI) of less than 200 billion US dollars.
Once an article has been accepted for publication, any Article Processing Charges are collected for an article become pending from author. In such cases, the author assumes responsibility for the Article Processing Charges and RAFT publication will not be issued the refund of any kind.
