Biography :

Jianjun Dai is Professor in the college of chemical engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), and a director of solid wastes treatment and thermochemical conversion process laboratory. He is also a professional engineer in Canada. His major research interests are solid wastes treatment, disposal and utilization, solid wastes pyrolysis and gasification, fluidized beds and moving beds technologies, chemical looping combustion and gasification, biomass pre-treatment and densification, bio-fuels synthesis and bio-methane production, wastewater and sludge treatment, various e-wastes treatment and disposal, gas clean-up and CO2 capture. He is the member of 1) State Key Laboratory of Organic-Inorganic Composites at BUCT 2) Biomass Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Center at BUCT 3) China-Canada Joint Centre for BioEnergy Research and Innovation 4) “Clean and high-efficiency use of coal and new energy-saving technology” Centre in the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), China 5) “Energy saving and green development evaluation” Centre in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China 6) Researcher at Beijing Engineering Education Development Research Centre
