Dr. Silvio David Rodriguez

Silvio David Rodriguez finished his major in Food Engineering in 2008 at the National University of Quilmes (Argentina). He obtained a PhD in Industrial Chemistry in 2013 at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) with a fellowship from CONICET. The topics included during his PhD were monitoring the aroma release encapsulated in modified starches using gas sensor arrays. He served as a postdoc fellow in the Department of Industrial Chemistry at the University of Buenos Aires studying the interaction between dairy proteins and polyphenols. From 2015 he is a permanent member of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (Argentina) working in different applications of spectroscopy to discriminate food ingredients related to their geographical origin or purity grade.
