Biography :

Ali A. L. Al-Thahab is Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Department of Architecture, University of Babylon-Iraq. He received his doctorate in Architecture and Built Environment from the University of Wolverhampton, UK. His PhD, entitled “Socio-cultural aspects of sustainable application of the practice of home and the Mahalla’s everyday life in Iraq”, is about the role of social and cultural factors and the daily lives of traditional societies in building sustainable livings. He has continued his researches and published several papers within this area. He has taught architectural design courses, theory of architecture and urban design in recent years
