Biography :

Dr. Tanmoy Guria has passed B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. with first class from Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2010 and 2012 respectively. He has completed his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He was a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi. He works on synthesis, characterization and various pharmacological screening of new heterocyclic compounds as well as Extraction, Isolation of phytochemical constituents from Natural Products. He is proficient in handling different instrument such as FTIR, Microwave synthesizer, Microplate Reader etc. His work has been published in different national and international journals. He served as a visiting faculty of Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He attended several National and International conferences, workshops and seminars. He received DST travel grant for attending 77th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 2017 held at Seoul, Republic of Korea, organized by The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

Research Interest :

Design and synthesis of new heterocyclic compounds for screening of antidiabetic, hepatoprotective, anticancer, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities. Extraction, Isolation and pharmacological screening of phytochemical constituents from Natural Products.
